Heart + Soul Oasis
Situated on 2 acres of beautiful land with indoor sleeping accommodations for 24, onsite camping and a large yoga, dance and celebration space, Heart + Soul Oasis is less than 90 minutes from downtown Phoenix. This incredible spot with its huge sycamore, Arizona ash and fruiting mulberry trees offers a peaceful environment for meditation, rejuvenation and celebration.
Located 82 miles northeast of central Phoenix in the Gisela valley, Heart + Soul Oasis sits at the end of a short lane and encompasses two spacious 3-bedroom 2-bath homes accommodating visitors with just the right combination of amenity and organic rural life. A place to unwind and go deep into the experience of self exploration, the spacious yoga facility looks out onto a grassy expanse that borders Tonto Creek, one of Arizona’s few year round creeks opening into the vast Tonto National Wilderness. There is nearby swimming and wading most of the year, endless hiking and exploring trails, as well as Native American ruins in the adjacent hills.
Heart + Soul Oasis partners with Shanti Omstead, our sister yogic retreat space on 4 additional acres nearby. Solar-powered Shanti Omstead, with its fruit tree orchard, garden and greenhouse, is where meals are prepared and served for most group functions. Ram Khalsa, owner of Shanti Omstead, welcomes guests into the garden to get their hands in the soil and connect with the source of our local sustenance. Shanti Omstead is just a short walk at the end of a tree-laden lane.
